Early morning stroll,
litter-strewn sidewalks,
congested with wary
eyes—I visualize a
freeze frame en noir
et blanc, no camera
in my hands.
Urban clutter is
stifling, I veer down
an alley towards
the shore, my feet
caressed by soundless
low tide waves,
autumn whispers
its epilogue.
A familiar turn down
the path leading to
my home,
I never arrive.
“Control manifests when we reshape our destiny from killing our species to unconditional love for our species. We need to take pause and judiciously examine what we are doing to each other. Any other viewpoint of control is irrelevant.”
