Churn

Neck deep in a churn of Orwellian nightmares,
and our strongest retort is passive indifference after
we’re blindsided by ploys of supremacist pricks
who conspire to assail our innate symmetry with
each other.

Gun wielding, dim-light intellects bent on plotting
recreant strategies to force a perverse morality
commonly associated with self-adoring
psychopaths of which this earth has seen too many.

Eyes wide in deep slumber, my form and
substance morphing into a luminous shadow,
slipping out through the west side of an eastbound
prophetic dream where no one else is present.

A galaxy-sized black hole consuming what’s left
of humanity—vacant space displacing our
sentience. One thousand years into the future,
there’s no trace of our presence, not even what
we could have become.

Only the choices we made.

“Peace and equality are not possible when one aspect of the human species rules over another. Peace and equality are not possible when human beings attempt to rule over nature. Lastly, peace and equality are not possible unless all individuals establish an interdependent relationship based on the actualized force of unconditional love.”
