Midnight

Nature’s child you are,
birthed on solar winds—my
interstellar future yet to
arrive. Our energies endure
as time-space anomalies,
contracting and expanding
to earthly merging of our
breath.

I feel you alongside during
forest walks, or in deep
contemplation gazing upon
evening tides—you muse my
private thoughts.

I heard your whisper,
you’ll always wait, a sacred
union never to be undone.
Though I feel your presence,
my eyes have tasted you
only once—dancing playfully
before me in the shadows
of a rare blue midnight.

The significance and relevance of a human being takes shape by way of her or his spiritual evolution. Human beings are significant because each is an equal and vital force that completes the potential capacity of the whole. The relevance of a human being thrives with the moment-to-moment influences that touch all aspects of creation.”
