Mage

Barefoot mage,
breathed into life by
the sapphire seas
of Arythaena Pri.

Who would be so bold
to claim me?

By the faintest glint in
my eyes, I will pierce
your consciousness with
undreamt imagery.

Déjà vu visions of your
altered self, coexisting
in a multiverse on
the downwind side of a
dark matter portal.

You think yourself
so small, eighty
years and done. Awaken
to your timelessness,
be swept into my quest.
Meditate my words
inside your heart.

But know this well,
only to me shall
the hummingbirds sing.
